In 2013 SNS REAAL was nationalized by the Dutch Government and Propertize (formely known as SNS Property Finance) became a stand-alone entity. Since the spin-off Propertize transformed from a regulated real estate bank with a loan portfolio of EUR 16 bln to a loan and real estate asset management organization which was acquired by Lone Star Funds in 2016.
